HMD Global seems all set to release the Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 the global market. The devices are slated to hit the shelves in June for the Indian market.
While these smartphones were launched earlier this year, HMD Global seems to gearing up for some more smartphones in the series. There are reports about the upcoming flagship smartphone Nokia 9 and other handsets dubbed as Nokia 7 and Nokia 8. There is no confirmation on the naming of the phones as well as the expected launch date.
The alleged devices were spotted on GeekBench with title ‘Unknown Heart’. The listing is believed to be those of the upcoming Nokia Android smartphones – Nokia 9, Nokia 8 and Nokia 7.
The GeekBench listing reveals that the Nokia 9 will be a high-end smartphone incorporating “ARM implementer 81 architecture 8 variant 10 part 2048 revision 1” which belongs to that of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC.
The alleged Nokia 8 is expected to have a Snapdragon 660 SoC at its heart. There are rumours that there will be at least three high-end Nokia smartphones to use Snapdragon 660 processors. This one could be one of the variant of Nokia 8.
The Nokia 7 listing on GeekBench suggests that the smartphone could use the Snapdragon 630 processor. Earlier, there were reports that the Nokia 7 would have a Snapdragon 660 SoC, but the new listing shows a SD 630 SoC.
