Ropes in Sanjay Bakaya as the new RVP for India and South Asia region.
Leveraging successes and momentum in other regions, Mavenir is strengthening its presence in India. Mavenir has announced that Sanjay Bakaya has been appointed as the regional Vice President for India/South Asia region.
Sanjay brings with him 28+ years of experience in Telecom and IT, covering diverse areas of India telecom industry. Prior to joining, Mavenir he was head of Sales for Asia Pacific region for RAN product and services at Vanu, Inc. He has held various key positions including member of senior leadership team at Motorola.

Mavenir has over 1300 people in India/South Asia region with offices in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Gurugram with plans to further expand its R&D Center at Bengaluru. They are good at bringing cost reduction solutions to the telcos. With this new announcement, the company will get aggressive in taking Cloud RAN and vEPC to the the telcos.
